Single-use Bioreactors: Why EnBase

EnBase and its unique glucose limited fed batch characteristics are highly applicable to microbial growth within single-use bioreactors such as the BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM system (Sartorius Stedim), Wave Bioreactors (GE Healthcare) & CellMaker Regular (Cellexus). The controlled growth in EnBase provides an extended linear growth phase and outstanding final cell density of E. coli cell cultures typically with a final OD600 of 30. This is achieved by matching the growth rate (enzymatically controlled in EnBase) to the available oxygen.
