Bioprocess Scale-Up: Why EnBase

EnBase cultivations in small scale ensure glucose-limited fed batch growth conditions very similar to those in a typical Bioreactor cultivation. By that characteristic EnBase becomes a valuable tool for optimisation of bioreactor process parameters in shake flasks. For instance, investigation of influence of glucose gradient, dissolved oxygen or time of induction can all be carried out. Additionally, the enzymatically controlled glucose supplied by EnBase technology results in high final cell density and is fully scalable from microwell plate to 100 L bioreactor.
