Screening of multi microbial cultures: Why EnBase

Sample isolation from different natural sources reveal many different microbes that need to be enriched before a screening process for new enzymes or secondary metabolites can be started. Traditionally this procedure has been carried out using a large number of shake flask cultures. Utilising EnBase Flo the enrichment of many different microbes is enhanced within a plated format and the beneficial growth characteristics of EnBase mean that even in a low volume the enrichment is optimal saving our customers time, the most precious resourse in many laboratories.
