Enzyme Screening: Why EnBase

Drug development or production of new biocatalysts often involves screening of millions of genes or proteins from microbial isolates and gene libraries in 96 well plates. Cultivation with EnBase medium in this application have demonstrated an increase in the final cell density of 3 to 10-fold and thus the hit rate for potential new candidates was enhanced. All EnBase kits contain designated number of plates and media, either Liquid Flo product or Gel Based product. Complex compounds of the booster solution aid cell growth & protein production at induction.
