BioSilta Joins ERA-IB Eng BioCat Program

BioSilta has become a strategic industrial partner in developing an Enzyme Engineering Technology Platform for tailor made enzymes in biocatalytic synthesis.

BioSilta is one of nine partners led by c-LEcta GmbH to be awarded funding under the EU 6th framework program. The Group includes DSM Pharma, TU Denmark & The University of Oulu amongst its group. The Project was described as “Industrially Significant” by the ERA-IB Expert Panel and the Research team as an excellent combination of University SME & Large industrial partners.
BioSilta are delighted to have EnBase as the core microbial cell culture & screening technology in the project.
